Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback singer, actress and musician. Her work is primarily in Tamil or Malayalam-language films. Annayum Rasoolum was her Malayalam as well as Tamil debuts as an actor. Andrea Jeremiah comes from an Anglo-Indian origin. She was born to an attorney from the Madras High Court attorney. Her sister, who is younger, is a research assistant from Belgium and lives in Leuven. Jeremiah lived close to Chennai she attended National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea began learning classical piano around the age of eight. She was an avid fan of geeks and wanted to be a psychiatrist. She joined The Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars at age 10. This group formed her singing and music composition career. Additionally, she worked as an actress in her college. Then she was an EVAM Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her acting career as a young actress in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. In 2006, she starred in a leo commercial alongside actor Shiva. Also, she appeared on the Podhigai Channel, a television serial. She acted throughout India. There was a brief appearance for the Kanda Mudhal final (2005). Gautham Vaisudev Menon performed in Vettaiyaadu's Vilaiyaadu. She was asked to have her play the female lead for Pachaikili Muthucharam. The film was an adaptation of James Siegel's novel Derailed, with Andrea as Kalyani who is a housewife who's husband is involved in an affair, and then is threatened with blackmail. Andrea was picked to play the role after Simran and Tabu were two actors who were contacted by the producers. The film premiered at the start of 2010. Her minor role was accepted as part of Venkat's Mankatha in 2011 in which she starred alongside a variety of actors. Annayum Rasoolum, a romantic film made by Rajeeev Rath which was released in 2013, was the actress's Malayalam debut.
