Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was raised in an ethnically mixed family. She is English, and her father is Nigerian. Her family was raised in the South London council estate and at the age of 14, attended The Brit School. At the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she obtained an acting BA. She appeared in many performances on stage during her school days, including King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe began her career as an actor with the film Storm Damage. She has since made appearances in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her breakthrough role came in 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was co-starring Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. Following this acclaim, she played Elisha in The BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and appeared in six episodes Trexx and Flipside. In 2008, she was cast as Bambi as the main character on ITV2's comedy Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe made an appearance in the 2008 comedy film How to Lose Friends & Get People to Leave. She also appeared in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path written composed by David Watson.
Madekwe debuted in the US by presenting The Beautiful Life. The drama series ran in the US on The CW for only two episodes before being removed from the air. Ashley Davenport was her role in ABC's drama Revenge. Madekwe was a regular in the drama series of Revenge on ABC for two seasons. It was revealed in May 2013 that she'd quit the show after completing a guest episode in the first season of the third. In the television series Salem the actress played Tituba from 2014 until 2016. Madekwe got married to her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June 2012. Together, they worked on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared alongside Madekwe on Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with an extended family. Four of her older brothers were also present and included twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's athletic brothers were avid baseball players during the summer months as well as hockey in winter. Ashley could not walk but could dance. This led to the fact that when she turned 2, she discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley began to develop a love of dancing after she started Baby Ballet. Ashley continued to perform competitively throughout high school at the top levels of competitions, such as tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and more. She also won best soloist awards at all major dance contests, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
